Veterinary Care – Made Affordable

Our veterinary clinic is dedicated to providing high quality, low cost, client-centered health care services to the dogs and cats of the West Valley in Phoenix, Arizona.

As a clinic specializing in preventive care we are able to offer significantly lower rates than full-service veterinarians due to our lower overhead costs. We pass these cost savings on to you.

Who We Are and What We Do

We are a high volume, low cost preventive care clinic specializing in keeping healthy pets healthy (vaccinations, dental cleanings, spays, neuters, Heartworm and FeLV/FIV testing., etc).

We work collaboratively with many full-service veterinary clinics in the area.  As we do not have X-ray or ultrasound equipment, we highly recommend taking your pet to a full service clinic if your pet is sick or injured.

Meet Dr. Katz, Veterinarian

Dr. Katz grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Katz started her career with animals at 16 years of age where she worked at Animal clinic Suburban as a kennel cleaner. During summers away from college she continued to come back to the clinic to get more experience in the field. She graduated from veterinary medicine in 1996.

Her first job as a veterinarian was at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic in her hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. While an associate veterinarian there she treated dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, a turkey, lion tiger, bear and the occasional monkey.

At NHS Dr. Katz testified in court on animal cruelty cases and in front of the Nebraska Unicameral on the topic of wolf/dog hybrids. She also implemented and managed NHS’s feral cat “Neuter/Spay/Release” program and answered pet-related questions on a weekly call-in radio program.  You may have actually seen her on two different National Geographic television shows — The Dog Whisperer (2006) and Dogtown (2008).

Dr. Katz moved to Phoenix in 2008.  Learn more about Dr. Katz and our team.
